Not all of Imperial Light and Machine Works (ILMW) creations are purely for war. The other, the more vital role they provide, is creating vehicles for government and planetary use. These extend from the mightiest of space freighters and supply ships to the lowliest paving machines. As such, they have made public transit for the various states and planets that are efficient, cost-effective, and adaptable.
Above is the ILMW OVC-5T3 tram, a simple automated vehicle designed to fit many roles providing transportation from breathable, atmospheric planets to vacuum environments experienced on state-owned starships in the harshness of deep space. These trams rank above very similarly-looking busses and below metro systems in the grander scheme of infrastructure hierarchy. The most significant improvement of this particular class was the perfection of safe electrified (third) rail which eliminated the overhead wire trapeze. These vehicles also provide transport to remote facilities in the city's area, be it a mine, factory, or other pieces of critical infrastructure.
Trams can easily be expanded and adapted with more cars, allowing an increase in size without complication.

I'm looking at these designs and I can see where you got some of its aesthetics from various gaming PC graphic cards with the angular-looking paneling that's sometimes used on them. As well as from those buses that have that hinge in the middle of them to allow for better turning.
Although as I'm looking at the design. Would it be better to have just one module instead of the smallest being the two-unit module? They could be configured to fit the buyers' end usage for them? Like where the front has that slight inward taper to it. They could open up to reveal a sort of linkage system similar to those on Amtrack passenger cars?

A lot of aesthetics came from the new Moscow tram and a Swedish short double-decker design.

A bus variant based on this is also used with a one-car configuration, just with a substitute in the undercarriage. As for linking, that's done for safety on the vacuum and military trams but a feature of the design in civilian models is one big open car area.
