Finally managed to finish putting this together for Grail.
Following the conclusion of his story/campaign, his path diverges somewhat from that of other party members, and in the process, he becomes an avid scholar of the Planes. He works his way into the upper circles of academia in the desert lands, all for the sake of his own research - some of which might admittedly be considered questionable, if shared openly. As he reaches those higher levels of power and develops a closer relationship with his Patron, he gradually loses all of his remaining former red color.
Despite being a high-level scholar, devoted to planar research, he will still regularly display curiosity about a wide and seemingly random variety of topics (and people). There is method to the madness, however - all information has value.
