Heavily inspired by Equinoxe Pt. 1 by Jean-Michel Jarre, this is the result of some late-night noodling I did last night. This marks the first song I've made that features live sound tweaking from the knobs on my Alesis V25 USB MIDI controller.

All sounds were generated using a freeware alternative to the Eight Voice System (EVS), one of Tom Oberheim's first polyphonic synthesizers which was originally made from 1975 to 1979. The EVS can be considered a predecessor to the OB-X, OB-Xa, and OB-8 synthesizers, although there is one whole three-oscillator synthesizer module per voice, which makes for some very thick and rich synthesizer sounds.
