- Apolegies for the low-ress, but this was a safety measure required by the con for me to upload this piece to my gallery-
Artist note: the top of the drawing was purpesfully kept emtpy to have space for the cons logo, just so you know that this was a made choice!
As a art-team member for PonyCon Holland this was my very first piece i did for the con! This was the artwork i made for the Theme announcement for this years con. the theme was ''Fairytales VS Nightmares'' and so I had too make artwork fitting too the theme. after some drafts and concepts this one was spicked out as most favourite by te staff! (this was my fav aswell)
I took inspiration from the Efteling's 7 goats story, Not only because this is a very uncommen fairytale used but also because this is a fun little easter egg for the dutch attendees familiar with the Efteling themepark. ;p and to incorporate the ponycon's mascots is made poffertje ( the little brown pegasis) play boardgames with the goats.. and WINNING IT! and Stroopwaffeltje ( the white stalion) as the wolf :>
I had ALOT of fun with this piece and adding all the little details, too really give of the efteling/vintage vibe.
I hope you all like it! and espect too see more of my art floating around the con :>
