Fun fact: while I focus more on My Little Pony than Dragon Tales these days, from what I've seen the original 80's My Little Pony cartoon seems to be similar to Dragon Tales as it involves children going to another world with the dominant creature in the lands name (in this case, Pony Land,) with there being differences like main characters being older than the majority of Dragon Tales protagonist's, and the fact that the Pony cartoon seems to be darker like having demonic characters like Grogar and Tirac. Yeah, the 80s sounded like it was mean to kids.
