It's been very cold where I live. So of course I was drawing summer outfits for these characters... and thinking up scenes set on the beach, and barbecues, and lemonade, and summery stuff like that.
I based Flash's vest on one I saw in an old photo while researching the authentic beat look. Since I was looking specifically for 1950s images I should HOPE the vest is from that time period, but it looks more 60s to me.
