Yeah I haven't started with those, rather with the dark green tone that's now in the back, but I tried with the dark purple and it stands out very well, gotta keep experimenting I can only say :3
Not sure about the Hotline Miami style tho but always happy to hear how people react to my works and draw connections to other styles :3 Will keep that in mind!
