On a hot summer's day, Nahmat climbs atop a pile of rocks on a hillside overlooking her valley.
One of the things I got to do at antheria was draw in the Sketchbook of Hannah Sakai. In the mood to draw something pretty, I drew a sketch of Nahmat, which I'm glad to say Miss Sakai approved of.
Liking it so much myself, I decided to re-draw the original sketch from memory. This is the result after giving the sketch my photoshop treatment.

Such simplistic detail. It doesn't put too much in as to confuse you with innumerable strokes and bits of "glam" (as I like to call the normally invisible rays of sunlight, glittery water and the like) but enough attention to it to make it feel alive, like the wee beatle by the bush. (which is cute by the way, a nice addition)
