My step-dad's kitty Possum (Pretty Girl Possum, as I had dubbed her) passed away due to multiple organs becoming very sick. She lived to be about 8 or so. Possum was Steve's kitty & best friend. He was her person, so I crafted this card just for him with a nice message inside. My little sister & I plan to go see Mom & Steve this weekend to spend time with them as a family & remember her together.

Do you know, just moments before I saw this, I was thinking of how awful things are in the world right now. How no matter where I looked there was bad news and horrible things happening.
I am so, terribly sorry for the loss of this beautiful cat. I hope she had a lovely, fun life, and I hope what ever waits for her next is wonderful as well.
