Our lovely princess and future king (yes, king, she takes the title of pharaoh rather than queen), Asethotep! Since her debut at the start of the prologue, I've slowly been getting a handle on making sure her facial features stay consistent. One thing I've always tossed back and forth was her resemblance to her son, Pamu (our main protagonist); I decided to really amp up the family resemblance when Asethotep is young, but to ease her into a much more angular look as she gets older.
At the start of the comic, Asethotep is a late teen/young adult. She's hilariously expressive and loud. I wanted to make sure that her character really pops in her design -- her younger self is not just puffier/fluffier but also rounder and alive looking.
Older Asethotep is extremely stoic and hardly ever emotes. Depending on how you look at it, you could say she mellows out... Or just gets better at hiding her outrageous personality.
