As busy as any other lady of her status, Princess Kaede always made time for her
friends despite any number of imperial duties that required her attention. Today,
an unexpected visit from Nami interrupted her calligraphy. She implored Kaede
to take a break and slip away from the castle, from Kaede's duties, and from the
empress, Kaede's mother.
Without hesitation, Kaede agreed and together they fled to the nearest
onsen - there, they enjoyed fresh hot tea and the scalding waters of the spring.
"Thank you, Nami -" Kaede chimed, pausing, "I need this to get away."
