Set after Gabatrix: The Warrior of Silence, Operation Desert Shrike is underway. The UHN and T'rintar clan prepare to launch an all out attack on the captured world of Cipra, a former human colony that had been long taken by the Aksren clan. It's up to Zalika, Bekra, Dean (Doper Dean), and many other characters from the past stories to help ensure to the success of the campaign.
Gabatrix is a part of the Tales of Heroes universe. It is set about 300 years in the future as humanity explores the stars and colonizes other worlds. You do not have to read Tales of Heroes to read Gabatrix, but you might miss out on some nice little fun references here and there. Gabatrix is also designed to be more of an in-between hard/soft science fiction space series than anything else.
