My mind might be just making me see what I like, but there is something about the pic that makes me think that chrysalis isn't solely being cruel here but has a slight crush on Luna but can't come right out and say it lest she appear weak which makes it way more interesting/appealing to me on some level.
also my mind is trying to imagine how chrysalis puts on those leggings lol. most obvious solution is they are something like latex and magically applied & set in liquid form
