Just finished watching the original Swat Kats tv series. I'm also a HUGE fan of the animatronic costume stylings of the Jim Henson creature shop and Frank Oz, in movies like 90s TMNT, Star Wars, Dark Crystal and The Labyrinth. For this image, I did a little style study of the puppet costumes from 90s TMNT and applied the style to the designs of the Swat Kats, T-Bone and Razor.
