I imagine they've both got exceptional grasping strength with their feet considering their species, so unless one of the pirates managed to sneak around and cut the rigging from above they should win this fight.
With fighting game logic and if they're both very skilled fighters I could imagine Jomo using the flat of his sword and knowing where to hit and how hard to knock out without serious injury and George could have some form of nonlethal rounds. Given the pirates are Ikai'kap they could just push the unconscious ones over the side afterwards since they can breathe underwater,
