"People just love to hate the humble opossum. People kick them around, run them over, call them rodents. People fear them because they could spread a disease which they do not harbour. People fear them because of a temper which does not fit their disposition. They fear them for false information!

In reality opossums are marsupials who VERY RARELY harbour rabies or canine distemper due to a low body temperature and who would rather run, bluff viciousness, and then "die" than attack someone.
