Hmm, I could see him getting a bit of casual revenge by getting Meg to ask Rilla some harmless (but difficult to explain to one so innocent as Meg) kind of question.
What form such a question might take, I wouldn't hazard to guess!
My mind is not innocent enough to safely formulate one.

I hope you plan to let Rilla to be able to give those two as many pouch rides are they are able and/or allowed to have (which hopefully might be endlessly) when they finally cross paths with each other later on (?)!
