One of those Memes that was running rampant a while back had a question on it that asked if your were "goth/emo." This question irritated me a little bit because it presented the idea that "goth" and "emo" are the same thing. And furthermore suggested that the majority of people likely classify them as being the same. Well...
THEY'RE NOT!!!
No, I'm sorry, Goths and Emos are two completely different groups that differ in many BIG ways. I could go into a long detailed discussion pointing these things out, because there are a lot of differences. The two groups may as well be as different as night and day. This pic just touches the surface of the topic.

In the end, both groups are full of hatred. Either to themselves, or to the world around them, but it's still hate.
But the second they stop hating and actually start working to change, they stop being a goth or an emo and actually become something real.
Personally, easier said then done, but it will happen for me, and for god's sake, it should start happening to more. Its not something to be proud of. Hate is never something to be proud of.
