As I said before my fursona's design was based on my main "not furry" character. So I thought it was a fun idea to finally draw them together to compare with each other.
The original harpy is tall, dark and strong. She is the protector of her location "Dead Forest", so her physique is more suitable for swift attacks from the air like a real prey bird. That is why I draw the jaws of these two girls so strange and "not birdy". These outgrowths were conceived as the main weapon with which she can bite very painfully. But since this was the main feature of the character, I did not remove them even after redesign into fursona.
Fursona is brighter, thicker and friendlier. She has a colorful design and soft shapes because she is not a warrior. She is a friendly bird who enjoys company here! However, don't forget who exactly her design was based on! This girl should not be pissed off too :)
I love them both and am very proud of how they turned out. Therefore, it was important for me to share my work with you all ^^
