I think the plush + badge combo is a unique idea that I like a lot!!
The only problem I could see is if you were shipping the plush internationally (I run an Etsy store in the U.S. and readjusting to the whole VAT thing has been wild), but even then you could probably still mail over the badge and have the commissioner pick up the plush at a convention or something!
