Well, a friend of mine's parents own a watch shop in town, and when he informed me of this, my creativity perked up and I asked if he could snag me some gears. He did, and this is one of the results of said creativity.
All the pieces here are either antique, or fabricated from a pendulum (the brass bits holding the leather on).
Aside from the gears, 20g blackened steel links are in there (somewhere).
