House is Falling apart...again...THIS IS FINE
Long Story Short:
3 months ago, we started hearing the house crack. We noticed old cracks re-opened. Basically, back in 2004 (2 years after we bought the house) large cracks showed up all over the house. Long process, lots of legal problems, but we got the house patched and walls replaced. The issue was because the house doesn't have proper foundations, basically they never dig all the way to rock solid ground. Rain and street water lost washed away some soft soil under the house, and it started sinking down. For Years, it never became a problem, until recently.
We had a guy come over, he took a quick look and simply offered a solution: breaking the entire basement ground and find the point the house is missing support on the foundations, but since we don't have the blueprints it would be digging blindly and find where the problem was..."cheap solution for only 12 THOUSAND EUROS", he said. Worst, after he said that he basically disappeared for a month, it wasn't until we contact him that he finally said: "I have a small but way too important team of builders and had NO time for such little problem". So he simply banished and leave us with the problem and no solution.
Last week, we got a New team came over, took a good at the entire house for an hour and half. Not only they determined the issue is NOT as bad as we thought, but they offered us a good (and proper price solution), for 1500-2000€ they can get a steel column and beam to hold up the garage/basement roof, so it holds the side of the house sinking down. This way, even if the house keeps sinking, it won't bend/force the exterior/facade of the house. (Good news, since MY ROOM was the one in most risk of just collapsing or simply detaching to the side of the house.)
This team even noticed that the road on the outer side of the house has no proper drain, and angle make water build up against the side of the house instead or making it flow away. So they offered their service to fix that during the summer, when rain season is over, and they have more time (busy with other projects)
This is basically why I haven't been active or uploading art. This past month I spend it moving furniture to decrease the weigh on that side of the house. I had a huge lack of sleep, had no energy and no motivation. I also didn't want to say anything BEFORE we had proper confirmation of the magnitude of the problem or if we were going to be able to fix it.
Furthermore, I also didn't want this news to affect commissions or my YCH projects. Don't want any pity commissions

My dad has that exact same problem. The house is so old to the point where the bathroom ceiling is being held by some tape cause of the cracks in it. Whats worse is the fact that one of the support beams is broken and there's a shelf on top of that leaning and then there's my room.. The fucking water made it through my wall and hit one my overwatch poster in the corner (cause its folded since i dont have enough wall space for it).
I live in a cookie Cutter subdivision, all the houses are about 22 years old, and they are all falling apart like cardboard. Just a week ago a whole ass house fell inside out and killed the family. Nasty buisiness, basically the whole company that built the subdivision is already dead and gone from other lawsuits so nothing can be done for compensation but the whole area is still extremely populated and most here in Illinois have nowhere really to go. Its a shit infrastructure world where people can get away with the most absurd construction quality cuts and literally profit from it even if it kills people.
