The Thing in the Sky was outlined beneath the sapphire glow of Mur's remaining moon. Ous. Above the grand nuua trees the silhouette of airships encircled it. The refugees far away could still see, with mostly quick glances before dipping out its sight within their provided shelters.
221 sat with its door open, the scent of cooked food drifting from within.
Spoiled, as the occupants quickly discovered. The entire pot was punted from the residence.
Rahm's wife, Surise stuck her head out and frowned at the sight. "Well... what shall we eat now?"
"I suspect our other food may not be up to par either," another wife sighed. She eyed the canned items suspiciously.
Rahm groaned in weary defeat. "I trusted that merchant that was it all good. How could I be so..."
His mates quickly pressed against him comfortingly.
"Don't put yourself down love," Eving chided him with a squeeze. "What's done is done. The kitchens are still open. We should head there."
The multitude of hungry fawns had mixed reactions. Some excited to eat outside. Others less enthused about seeing the UFO. A couple loudly complained.
But they were hushed. Their respective mothers assuring them them that it would only delay their suckling a few minutes.
Molk's stomach growled and looked to his mother with a frown. "But I'm hungry now, mother."
She scooped him up and nuzzled his head before grabbing his favorite hat from a rack they had set up and plopped it on his head. "You can nurse there just as easily, dear."
With that, the family departed into evening towards the smell of proper food. Fawns obediently following their food sources.

Anyway. Hope you enjoy!
