After clearing the Eterna Gym, I decided to head over to the Old Chateau where I caught myself a Gastly. I managed to clear through the Team Galactic building with little issue thanks largely in part to Fortune, but I ended up having a very close call with Commander Jupiter as Zane ended up getting poisoned and then almost got KO'ed by Skuntank's Aftermath. I had two missed encounters on Route 206 and in Mt. Coronet, but Sandy ended up evolving into Graveler after beating that Machop I failed to catch. I caught a Psyduck on Route 208 and then easily defeated my rival Blarg in Hearthome City. I received and egg from that guy at the gate and later ended up catching a Bibarel, after which the egg ended up hatching in a Happiny. Jared FINALLY evolved into Roselia after beating a wild Chansey and Leo evolved into Luxray after a battle with a trainer in Veilstone Gym. Maylene's first two Pokemon went down without much of a fight, but I greatly underestimated her Lucario as I sadly lost Fortune to its Metal Claw attack. So much for having an Alakazam in this run.
