Shi is not a psychopath or a sadist - but shi can attend the death penalty and then go to a restaurant for lunch...
"I was a terrible mother, even my daughter ran away from me..."
What can be said about hir financial and private contacts?
For many years shi tracked hir daughter's path and the place of hir death, and when shie learned that Shadow had a daughter, shi followed hir path for a decade.
Autumn was not happy that hir granddaughter was raised by a "some man from Earth", but shi understood perfectly well that if shi quarrels with Mark = shi will quarrel with Star who is completely loyal to him. Autumn also helped them both move to Chakona.
Of course, shi's retired now and never told Sanders what shi did, but just a few calls and Star was able to buy a big house, Mark came to the planet with perfectly legal documents, no one asked about his past or the origins of his finances, he didn't even have to pass customs...

"You gave me back the meaning of my life - my granddaughter, you raised my granddaughter - so now you are also my child."
Autumn approached the sitting man and hugged him, although Mark was nervous because hugging Autumn is the same as hugging a cocked warhead...
"Oh, you're right about me... We're the same, we both know how cruel the outside world is, - you just haven't seen half of what I've seen."
Autumn lives in a not very big - but comfortable house. Shi survived hir couple, and the only family she has left is Star.
Although shi sometimes calls Sanders hir child, Mark himself treats Autumn Leaf with respect and caution.


Please note that my story is in the process of being written, and most of these small fragments that I published are not in chronological order. So when I finish my plans I will try to put everything in order.
