The coalition was formed quickly. It was formed out of almost every other nation outside of Eden; people had put aside diplomatic tensions, historical grudges and religious differences overnight after the trial of the November massacre. It was formed in a state of panicked realization with hardly any decision prior made to chain of command, division of resources, supply routes or even who would lead who's troops on the battlefield.

It didn't matter

Everyone from the minor states, to the bitterest of superpower rival nations all collectively pooled their resources, money and armed forces into achieving one common goal;

"Stop Eden. Whatever the cost. Eden must be stopped"

None of it's founders would live to see the end of the decade.

~~Minutes from the trial of the November Massacre, International Court of Justice, Nov 28th 2060~~



*Court is given the audio log of communications between Eden, and the military command of the Eastern Federation*

- "This is general Yellen of the Eastern Federation. We surrender. I repeat. We surrender. Our troops have been instructed to ceasefire and comply with Eden military personnel"

- "We do not accept your surrender"

- "...What?"

- "The Evicerator units will remain on the field. We need more samples"

- "What you talking about? We surrender!"

- "We do not accept your surrender"

*Audio recording is paused*


Chief Prosecutor: Do you have an answer as to why Eden military command outwardly rejected pleas for surrender?


Emperor: There were ordered to


Chief Prosecutor: So you admit guilt to the first charge of war crimes?


Emperor: Yes


*Audio recording resumes*

- "Re-establish commutations! Get a link with Eden's forces NOW!"

- "They're blocking our communications, sir. We can't make contact"

- "DAMN IT!"

*crashing is heard*

- "Sir, our forces are routing, we've lost the right flank"

- "Tell everyone to fall back! Get as many of our men out of there as quickly as possible, we need helicopters!"

- "Sir, an update has been sent from the field. The Evicerator units, multiple ground units have claim to have seen them...they're harvesting organs"

- "What?"

- "Sir, the enemy forces are pulling away from the battlefield"

- "You mean they're retreating? Have they accepted our surrender?"

- "N-no, they're...they're heading towards the nearest city..."

Chief Prosecutor: Eden's war machines were then mobilized across the border into Federation territory, and were used against the civilian population


Emperor: We required a larger sample size


Chief Prosecutor: ...Of human organs? Why?


Emperor: To gather enough prime genetic material and start cloning on an industrial scale


Chief Prosecutor: ...What are you talking about?


*2.15pm, Courtroom doors have been forced open by two large men. Eden military apparel. They have taken position behind the Emperor of Eden at the stand. There is uproar is the court*


Emperor: These represent the new infantrymen of Eden's armed forces. Genetically engineered to be stronger, faster and more resilient than the average human. Modified to not experience notions of fear or disloyalty. An artificial super-soldier designed in a lab, and grown in a factory

Judge Mendez: This is a violation of human dignity!


Judge Zhao: Let the record show the Emperor of Eden has openly admitted to breaking international laws against human cloning!


Judge: Palmer: This is sick! You're trying to play God!


Emperor: Our citizen population is no longer expected to staff our armed forces, all fighting roles shall be filled by artificial soldiers. In the time since this meeting began, approximately three legions have been printed, and are ready for deployment. Each legion consisting 50,000 men


*After some deliberation, while order was restored to the court, one of the allegedly cloned soldiers is called forward with the Emperor's permission to speak on their own behalf at the stand*


Judge Ayad: Thank you for coming forward, take a seat

Judge Laurent: You prefer to stand?
