Rhaldia has lived her entire life on a floating continent in the sky, far above the surface world below. She and the rest of dragonkind retreated from the world a long time ago, in order to save themselves from the horrifying effects of a magical experiment gone wrong. Though Rhaldia has only lived for seven hundred years, she and all of the other dragons have been in exile from the surface for the past five thousand years. When Rhaldia's father unexpectedly announces that the magical experiment seems to have ended, the Council of Elders must decide how to proceed forward.Holy shiiiiiiiiit this isn't a commision?! What's going on?!
The comments I've gotten over the years about the lore and stories I've had trapped in my head have finally spurred me on to actually write something. Rhaldia's story was a long time in the making, and it took me way longer to get the first part ironed out. But it's finally done. And while it isn't perfect, I'm at least happy with the result. this is pretty great! i love seeing your world! you also did a pretty neat job on explaining the magic system and how it works! also, your characters had pretty good interactions: they felt natural imo. and as someone who deals with someone like Rhyderion, I feel like you did a good job at conveying how Rhaldia felt.
