Tobias - Graveyard of Childhood Dreams
At the borders of the district, he had time to focus on his thoughts, and he could do so by leaning over the railing and just take in the inner structure of the building: An immense gap in the middle, no more than 30 stories below but a sheer immeasurable amount to the top, where the air filtration system was unable to pump all the smog and dust out of the building, preventing to see through the haze and giving it the illusion of a never-ending height.
Tobias heart skipped a beat at the sight of it.
If they wanted, residents of the Megablocks could live their entire lives within them and never once had to walk down the streets of the city. And to some, it was the ideal lifestyle.
He looked at the innumerous amounts of light in this building and what came flashing back at him was the vision of the future; this was the graveyard of his childhood dreams: venturing out through the stars and exploring places nobody has ever seen before. Uncovering the mysteries that hold the secrets to the universe.
He could feel his ribcage tightening around his lungs. There would never be a way out of here. He was trapped on this planet, ever since they had found their way here 3 years ago. There was no way of returning home…
- Excerpt of a short story I'm working on.

Once again this turned out very lovely! Really love how soft the face looks and the lighting in the eyes. The background is quite nice to, love all the various little lighting it is kinda like little apartments or storefronts. But yea the overall slight outrun vibe to this is quite sweet. But yea nice work!
Happy you like! ^v^
Yes those are all rooms or otherwise illuminated areas full of life in this depressing megabuilding. A nightmare for everyone who dreams to venture out in the open and be free...
I was inspired by the movie DREDD and Cyberpunk 2077 which both feature such buildings and I can't help but be drawn to this setting over and over again...

Very! ^^
Kinda describes houses and apartments in general, just various rooms full of wild stories and emotions or maybe something a bit more smaller and quint but can still tell a lot about some or a singular occupant in general.
Yea I can definitely see the resemblance and agreed they are quite a fun setting. Definitely recommend The Fifth Element, has some good settings if you have not watched it
