This picture, "The Prince And The Chipmunks" is based on the Marilyn Monroe movie, "The Prince And The Showgirl"~1957. AND, I was also inspired when I was messin' around with the 'Sound Effect' program on my comp and turned up the pitch while listening to some classic music. I also listened to some Elvis, so... A couple of pitches up, and some of the music I listened to nearly sounded as if it were being sung by Jube' and high-pitched girls. So...I made CHIPMUNKS!
Aren't they adorable??
Jublenarris is a white tuxedo ( possibly a pimp or singer ) hangin' with his background singers, the chipmunk identical triplets, from left to right>>
Maisie, Cassie and Sassy.
( Sassy's the one you can barely see in the far right hand corner, who Jube' is given a rather lusty look to. But NO, Jube' is not an aristocrat. If he were ever famous for anything he did, 'The Prince' would be his celebrity trademark. NOT to be confused with the male singer, 'Prince'. )
I LOVE how I'd given Jube' a rather devious and naughty look-spread across his face... I wonder what thoughts are running through his head...?
And it's the first time I've given a character with a Marilyn Monroe sort of look. And first Redwallish chipmunks I've ever done. :giggle: I hope you like, either ways. That hair was tricky. I'm sure to get it right, next time. And even though there are no chipmunks in Redwall, I thought I'd make a few.
Furthermore, I feel VERY embarrassed about Maisie's right arm. ^^;
It's far too long and too thin from this view, and worst of all, I couldn't and can't fix it now. So...sorry 'bout that, guys...
Anyways, hope you enjoy! Really put my heart into this one.
