This is some information about that creature I posted yesterday and I decided to call it a shurvin x3 But yea, right to business! And hope ya likez the picture and the information!
Additional Info For Shurvins:
Shurvins are mostly like mammals but have some reptile-like qualities. As for the mammal qualities, they are warm blooded, covered with fur, and other things like that. The reptile qualities they have are their teeth and jaw. The size of a shurvin is about 4 feet tall and 5 feet long including tail. Almost the size of a large dog, maybe.
They are carnivores and usually eat any animals smaller than them. They hunt alone since sharing isn't really one of their best skills. Also, they are very quick and can catch most prey with ease. A shurvin would usually quickly try to bite their prey but they let them go. When an animal is bitten by them, venom is injected and slowly parylizes it. The shurvin would just follow a bitten animal until the venom takes affect completely. After it takes affect they wouls use the help of their teeth and tongue to swallow the prey whole. Shurvins can dislocate their jaw to help swallow food better.
A shurvin's tongue is very large. It can stretch out of their mouth about a foot. It's mostly used for eating but also used for grooming sometimes. The tongue is stronge but can be gentle to clean fur. Also, it's a pale blue-ish color.
As you may notice, shurvins only have one eye. This doesn't mean they can't see well, though. They have average to good eyesight but can't see well in the dark. Their eye works much like our eyes but can move faster to see predators/prey before it's too late. Iris color can vary greatly but the sclera is always a dark purple color.
Shurvins are social and mingle with there own kind most of the time. But food can get a crowd of them to start fighting since they're quite greedy. But other than that, they are very kind to each other and help others out. Eventually, mingling in these groups leads to finding mates.
Shurvins give live birth like most mammals and spend a lot of time with their pups. The mother shows the pups how to hunt most of the time while the father keeps watch at the den. But when pups are too young to learn how to hunt they wait at the den for food. If a predator comes near, a pup would try to hide and curl up to not get caught. But if that doesn't work, they can climb up a tree and make high pitched squeaks to alert its parents.
