Sparky and Blaze Alter - joined for life
EDIT: Now in Color! I had to use photo editor, since I kinda ruined the original with colored pencils...

Here's a new story featuring the Cinder-Twins, set in the Rexseia siblings' timeline...
don't look at me like THAT! like I would really start doing conjoinment stuff with my Characters and NOT invent an alternate timeline where they're stuck together forever...!
i wanted to make this in Gmod, but my Laptop's kinda-sorta dying, so I just decided to draw it out.
I'll color it later, either I get some colored pencils or I color it in MSPaint (assuming my Laptop won't crash.)
With the worst headache in her entire two and a half years of life, Blaze awoke in an unfamiliar room, in an unfamiliar bed. she couldn't see all that well since her eyes were practically glued shut with all the accumulated crust on them, so she brought her paws to her face to rub her eyes all the way awake.
now that she could see better, she noticed the room was like a small hotel, but not really. judging from the smell and the accommodations, she guessed correctly that she was in some hospital rehabilitation bedroom. she turned her head to her left and noticed a basket with a "Get Well Soon" card attached.
Well, that certainly confirms it, but why was she here? did something happen... wait, no. something did happen. she was at Stow-on-Side for an errand, there was a human- a trainer and her Braixen. then there was the teeth... and Sparky was there, tears forming in the angriest eyes she ever saw... the rest was a total blur.
Blaze brought her right arm to her face in an effort to wake herself up some more so she could jog her memory better, but she stopped the moment her right paw came into view. was it a trick of the light? or... no, she wasn't seeing things! her left paw was her normal white coat, but her right was the unmistakeable mocha color of her kind's shiny variant!
come to think of it, ever since she awoke, Blaze felt off. like the entire left half of her body felt distant and alien, even though with testing, she could move that side with no issues or delay. finally, it occurred to her to look to her right, and when she did...
"s-Sparky?"
she saw her brother, Sparky. Out like a light, and looking absolutely horrible, like he just got done crying himself to sleep. she pulled her covers down to see herself better, and sure enough, she and Sparky were indeed once again joined together into one body.
none of this was adding up. when did they visit G.A.S. Labs? wait, were they there now? she did recall that they did have something like a rehabilitation wing for their customers. to help pairs figure out how to move together. she and Sparky never needed that kind of help- they were pretty well coordinated, having battled as a team a few times...
no, dammit, focus! Blaze's mind was wandering again! why were they joined together? why could she move Sparky's limbs when they never once sprung for shared control before? why does Sparky look so miserable? her own memory was lacking, she had to ask him herself.
"sparky? Sparks! wake up!" Blaze whispered as she gently slapped his brother to get him to awake. after another half a minute of this, and after Blaze chanted "wake up" another thirty times, Sparky finally stirred. rubbing his face in his own forearm, Sparky noticed that Blaze was up- finally- and smiled.
"morning, Sleepy-bun~" Sparky croaked, still a bit groggy since he only finally got some sleep a half an hour ago, "You had us all worried..."
"what is this? why are we...?" Blaze began, but Sparky interrupted, "Guess you wouldn't remember, would you?" Sparky chuckled weakly, "you... you had a bit of an accident."
Sparky began, "we were in Stow-on-Side, running errands..." he stopped briefly when Blaze interrupted "of course, but..." Sparky spoke over her and continued, "a Dracovish escaped Cara's custody- something was probably wrong with it... it attacked this trainer and her Braixen, but you stepped in, and..."
Sparky trailed off. needless to say, the memory of seeing his sister with her right arm, right leg, and a good chunk of her abdomen gnawed off, her face frozen in shock... was not a memory he wanted to revisit. finally he simply told Blaze, "... you got banged up pretty bad."
Sparky nudged their shoulders- he could control both sides too- to signal something to Blaze. she understood right away, and the pair lifted themselves up into a sitting position.
"... so like, what?" Blaze sheepishly asked, rattled by this news, "are we joined this way so... we could have one last three days together before...?" Sparky cackled, still pretty weak, but loud enough to startle his sister. "I think the 'three days' theory has sailed," he finally said once his laughter died down enough for him to speak, "Not to alarm you, but we've been like this for five days now."
Blaze was puzzled, "so wait, how long will this last?" Sparky said nothing, he just gave her something of a playful 'what do you think?' look, and as the realization dawned on her, Blaze almost sent them both falling backward, she was so floored.
thankfully, Sparky took control of her arm in the nick of time to keep them both upright. "let's just say this," Sparky said, "this all happened because I wasn't there to save you. but now I'll be at your side, always." he took a brief moment to consider what he just said, "... I'm sorry, was that too much?" he asked.
"wait," Blaze stammered, "b-but what about your battling career? you'll never be able to battle again if we're--" Sparky's smile faded from his face and he continued, "You don't have to worry about that, I sorta already took care of that issue myself."
he reached over, grabbed a nearby newspaper and handed it to Blaze. on the front page, it read, "KILLER RABBIT IN GALAR: Sparky banned for life from competitive battling."
"They all understood the situation. it wasn't like I kicked a Togepi to death or something. that Dracovish had to be put down..." Sparky sighed with a faint smile, "still, murdering another Pokemon is... not exactly a good look for a champion to have, now is it?"
Blaze didn't know what to say. on one hand, this was what she always wanted; to be a part of her brother's life forever. there was never any creepy romantic feelings or anything like that. it's just that whenever she was alone, she never felt like a complete pokemon. she could never really explain it without coming off as a total basketcase, but Blaze only ever felt truly whole whenever she was with Sparky. A part of her was excited at the prospect of being joined for life with her brother!
but on the other hand...
"I'm so sorry, Sparks. it's all my fault..." Blaze choked out, weeping. as she continued speaking, she tried to wipe the tears forming in her eyes, "battling was your favorite thing to do, a-and I just went and took that away from you, did I? if I just stayed in town... if I never..."
Sparky lent Blaze a hand in wiping her tears away, and then pressed her head close to his in a sort of cooldown side-hug. "you're being too hard on yourself, Super-bun! if it weren't for you, that girl and her Braixen would have probably been killed or worse."
Blaze tried to pull her head away, but Sparky held on tighter and continued, "for a Cinderace who's never fought before, what you did was incredibly brave. and I don't regret a thing in what I did to save you- not a single thing. I want you to know that..."
a full ten minutes passed, and Blaze finally spoke, voice still cracking up a bit, "... hey, uh... d-did we ever eat the whole time we've been here?" Sparky let go of Blaze's head and chuckled, "I guess not. most I had was a couple cups of water while I was waiting for you to wake up. what? you hungry?"
a smile finally formed on Blaze's face, "starved!" she answered in a joking tone, "you said it's been five days, right? if I didn't wake up. you were totally dead-set on griefing us to death, were you?" Sparky chuckled and shook his head, "Aw, c'mon! it wasn't like that!" he said. "I knew you were gonna pull through! I just was never all that hungry all this time, I guess..."
the two Cinder-siblings shared a bit of a laugh, before Blaze finally said as they were lifting themselves out of bed, "In any case, let's go see if they have anything to eat around here." Sparky shrugged and said, "may as well. Jazz sent that basket like a week ago, and the berries in it are probably all spoiled by now..."
Blaze was a little startled. "Jazz? we're thinking of the same Jazz, right? Jazz the Lopunny?" Sparky said "Yeah! she's been visiting us every day since we got here. didn't do a lot of talking though... why? is that odd?"
Blaze simply giggled and said, "Not at all, I suppose... say, do you know if she's gonna visit again?" Sparky replied as they walked to the door leading to the hallway, "I think tomorrow, they don't allow visitors on Saturdays. why is this a big deal anyways?"
"Maybe she's taken a liking to you?" Blaze said in a mocking sing-song voice "now that you're technically half girl, you may finally have a shot at--" "Oh, HA-HA~!" Sparky interrupted out loud as they stepped out into the hallway.
