Made a pair of miniatures based off my Iron Kingdom (RPG set in the same world as Warmachine) characters. Yet another incarnation of Marruk (not a thylacine... yet) as a Gunmage Captain Adept/Journeyman Warcaster with his custom Hunter light warjack Sarco (LancerAdvanced did a nice picture as a commission <www.furaffinity.net/view/452561/>
Sarco's body came from that of the Grenadier Light Warjack. Glued a pair of extra stormchamber sprues on the back, and ran a hose to the gun. Head is from a Protectorate of Menoth Redeemer, and I make the pickaxe from a Hunter's axe & a bit of metal sprue. Marruk is a Kell Bailock figure with a modiied Journeyman backpack (until I finish making a new pack.)
Just finished the conversion & the first coat of paint. Need some touchup, but I was hapy with it for the first go round.

Wargame-wise, Marruk's been used a couple times (unpainted) and Sarco has seen action once (used Quartermain previously.) THough, Marruk is used as a standard Journeyman & Sarco is a standard Hunter. Managed to run the pair of them behind enemy lines & kill one of my opponent's warcasters with a well placd shot from Sarco. Opponent was pissed and sent his most powerful warjack to squash them, but they managed to disable it as well... Then they got the shit kicked out of them by rocket toting infantry. Sarco took the brunt of the attack (and was destroyed) while Marruk dove back to friendly lines (and was badly wounded in the process.) Given that they killed like 3 times their point value in enemy units I am most pleased!
