5D's - Desperate Disgusted Disillusioned Disgraced Droid!
XD Croc did NOT take warmly to YuGiOh 5D's, but that's fine, it's still fun
Not to mention, this gave me an excuse to put pencil to paper in one of those rare occasions =B
I like a couple of things I did and dislike many others, including my mass inconsistencies with redrawing Croc and myself here, lol
Like, my hair looks awesome, yet like Major Kusanagi...
And Jo was fun for my first shot at her, but, blah, could be improved =o
So, Croc C Croc, Jo C Jo x3
Hee, and if you're really interested?
THIS was what they were watching...

HOWEVER, there are a few YuGiOh cards that illustrate mummification at work

I do not have a video clip apologies, best I can offer just now =x

Priss broke her arm in #5 or #6, I think. The one with Vision.
#4 was notable because I think it's the most convincing depiction of Car Vs. Motorcycle in films. No matter what you see in Mad Max, in any kind of unarmed combat situation I'm betting on the guy with four wheels and a ton of steel.

Ah, I remember now, I confused it since Pris did indeed end up with a hospital visit for her troubles in that episode
It's strange how western action movies can look suddenly so flimsy compared to the animation of our eastern companies
Look at most action stuff we end up with, then ask those directors to watch Cowboy Bebop the Movie and see them hang their heads in shame...
Although thinking on the subject of roadway duels?
Where do we stand on car v eighteen wheeler?

It's the medium. You can animate things you'd never dream of asking a stuntman to do, even today. They had an animated guy cartwheel down a street, breaking limbs as he flew. CGI's not quite there yet.
Car vs. big rig? I'm betting on the big rig. The motorcycle and car might get away, but one good knock and it's over.

It's hard to say. I'm not a stunt co-ordinator; Cheshire would be able to discuss this better. The ting is that stunt work is dangerous; stuntpeople do get killed from time to time. I'm strongly inclined to think that the car-on-motorcycle violence animated in BGC 4 would be impossible to do safely with real people.
Probably the worst road hazard is an armored car, a tank with wheels. They're very heavy, the driver can't see you, and he can't stop even if he does.

Ah, she would indeed be helpful for a moment like this!
I think you might have that right on BGC, but they went pretty all out on that episode, there are some moments as you've said that animation that can do that are impossible to recreate
Dagnabbit though, my favorite of the tank and the big rig seem to have too many weak points to become real threats of the road!

I'd be very curious to know if anyone's done a book about incidents where people were killed making films. There's a rather disturbing one from the Italian 1927 Quo Vadis where they used life-sized puppets filled with meat and had lions eat them. Apparently, nobody pointed out that they were training lions to attack and eat people. An extra got killed.
