In terms of the original FF light warriors, the red mage was the most like the D'nD bard. And with myself having both 'Destructive' Bard magic, healing skills, and some fine agility it seemed like a great idea to play dress up. I hope I pull it off cause I usually need myself to wear green to some degree.
I also did the nes and Dawn of Souls remake sprites for my usual style practice; even though I mixed the two distinct NES character pallets up, and the fact that I've often avoided GBA styles cause of often weird scaling and what the heck are some games even trying to do with their shading.
