Ok, this is not the sort of piece I would normally do, and I've never drawn a gun or uniform before, so I suppose it warrants a little explanation.

My father was a police officer his entire career, and he worked with the K.9. force through two long-lived canine partners. He traveled the country and won many national awards for his excellence in the field, and he worked also as a S.W.A.T. officer, called in when they needed the dog for special work.
I don't know if my dad realizes what a big influence he had on me, and how much I admire what he devoted to his career.
So here's Hondo - his second partner, with his usual attitude - if only he stood on two legs and could carry a gun. ;)
