It's that time of year again - when ghosts and goblins and other creatures of the night descend upon the Haunted Pumpkin Patch for a harvest season of happy hijinks.
This mousie, as well as the surprised pumpkin's glowing eyes and mouth, emit an otherworldly glow in the dark, to better find them come the witching hour.
Polymer clay and acrylic paints, with satin-finish varnish.
Dime provided for size reference. Yes, they are wee.
One of these days, I shall figure out how to reliably photograph these things to show what they look like when glowing. (I suspect a tripod - and perhaps a day or two's worth of sunlight - would be quite useful for such a task.)
Will be selling these at FurFright and MFF 2010 at $10/ea, unless someone snatches them up here first.

I've been debating the merits of trying to cast some of the gumdrop designs, as we've a friend that does it and would be willing to share her supplies.
What stops me at the moment is that (a) Figuring out ahead of time whether or not there was enough demand for a given design to justify the cost of a mold - essentially, I'd either have to start taking preorders, or trying to predict the fandom's favorites, and (b) I might need to raise my prices in order to offset the cost of the molds (or pray that the demand existed to sell a large amount of copies). Which I suppose all boils down to Jennies is a lazy kiwi conditioned to avoid thinking ahead. @_@; Though I will confess that a standard gryphon, fox, and/or cat mold would save me a ridiculous amount of time.
Also I suppose I could always take these turnarounds, post them to PatchTogether, and see if there's enough demand for professionals to do all the work for me... ^_^
