It's been a looong time since I've posted anything here. This picture is a long overdue birthday present for a friend which I sketched a while ago and just never got around to coloring until now.

Overall, I'm pretty satisfied with it. This is the first time I've done something completely in SAI and basically what I learned is that I don't know very much about how to use it << I may not be able to use it to its fullest potential but somehow I still think this is probably the piece I'm most proud of thus far. The background isn't great and neither are the shading, but I had never drawn either of these creatures before and it was a really fun experience.
