Alonira was hard-pressed to keep her expression servile as she made her way to where the Queen, her Mistress, sat above-decks, to see and be seen as they made their way up the Nile. Servants whispered and other slaves looked on longingly as the young 'Taur passed, and Alonira basked in their envy. Guards told to let none pass gave way before her, and soon she was standing before her Mistress, presenting Liane with the platter-borne message she held. As always, the thought of her Queen's name sent shivers down her long spine, as she knew she was one of a very few who had the privilege of having such intimate knowledge. The Rabbit's warm smile sent another shiver through her body, the knowledge that her Mistress found her pleasing sending a rush of warmth through her, making her return Liane's smile for a moment before lowering herself onto her lower belly and bowing her head, upholding the golden platter for her Mistress to take the message upon it.
