See now, this is what I've always kind of been dreading. Spending all this time designing and developing wrestler characters, it seems only logical that would eventually have to, you know, draw some wrestling. But I knew as soon as I did, I'd risk invoking the arrival of the weirdos, whom I have, frankly, tried to systematically alienate with one condescending comment after another over the past few months (and this is still part of that process, by the way, if you're just here because you're looking for new RP partners for your big sweaty meathead, please move on. Don't even fave it). And let's be honest, even the non-wrestling fetishists among my followers waiting impatiently for more gay porn might be looking at this like "hm...this is probably as good as it's gonna get for a while, so let me tell you what I do and don't like about this..." Made all the worse by the fact that it's a submission hold rather that a slam or strike.

So basically my strategy is to draw a thing, and then methodically insult and alienate every single person who is guaranteed to be interested in the thing, albeit for all the stupidest reasons.

ANYWAY...but I wanted to draw something, especially because I injured my wrist playing Crash Tream Racing on Hard Mode and needed something to do since I can't do any gaming this week. So I figured I'd take a crack at depicting Zane performing his primary finisher, which he calls the Celestial Rings. The Rings are also known IRL as the Rings of Saturn and frankly, that's a pretty cool name by itself and even compatible with Zane's astronomy theming but I figured I should rename it to make it more his own.

But also, speaking of weirdos and fetishists, after all that porn and general self-debasement I did for the past couple of years, the payoff is that a pose like this was probably easier than it otherwise would have been. This is actually my first time attempting to draw it in full size (I'd done a couple of very small sized practice doodles in the corners of used sheets of paper, previously). And that's one thing I'll say about porn, you'll definitely learn a thing or two about poses and anatomy if you do it long enough. It's just that nobody will care at the precise moment that you attempt to apply those skills to anything else.
