She's a d&d custom race called Ma'una that was created by our DM.
They are a tribe of wandering peoples who are each born nestled in the hide of a certain (randomised) animal, which they keep close to them at all times, and may transform (a free wild shape) into that specific animal at will. They often display some animalistic features upon their mostly humanoid bodies, and these features can differ wildly between each member of the race.
My girl is an Arcane Trickster Rogue, and her design is based on her animal, the (european) Badger!
