Such sweet little critters. i do not know why people fear all bees. many are rather harmless and of course all of them are essential to our survival. when i was a little kid and i guess less stinky of evil i use to pet these guys like a cat. they would sit on my hand for a little while and lick sweat while i petted them. never once got stung by a bumble bee. only a few times from honey bees but i stepped accidentally on every one that bit me and wasps the same way. only when i did something wrong did i ever get bit. Yellow jackets on the other hand hated me for years and years til i finally made peace with them and now they do not bite me either but they still won't stay out of my food or drink. they make terrible house guests unlike wasps
