Drifting through the opaque green water with his jagged horns rising from the surface carrying their thin film of pond scum and the poisonous quills lining his back flattened by the flow, Venom could be easily mistaken for a rotting log. A mistake his biology and muddled coloring had ensured for easy prey, and the last mistake many made as they navigated their way through his bayou.
