Yeah, they're woodlouse spiders. Woodlice have pretty hard exoskeletons so those big jaws are made to pierce them. Not exceptionally poisonous to humans but can still deliver a painful bite! And they're freakylooking! Like giant freaky 8-legged ants!

Yeah. There's thousands of them out here in the desert, under everything and creeping around everywhere. Never been bit by them, but I don't pester them, either. They look like pearls attacked to a red facehugger. o.o

I been chewed on several times by sunspiders, though. They keep thinking my toes and fingers are food. They run away when I twitch because they were expecting me to be a soft squishy bug not a huge billion ton stompy monster. And to think I'm scared of them and they aren't even as big as my fat toe. :D

I kinda wanted to say that, because I originally typed "bugs" ... but then i thought I saw someplace that they weren't quite arachnids either. Well, the woodlouse spider is, but the other two were something else. Maybe I'm just tired. All I know is they have exoskeletons, hairy legs, and they want to eat me. All of them. AUGH!

Nope. Whip scorpions are vinegarroons, camel spiders are solifugids, and these are neither. The critters pictured are Sow Bug Killers.

They're almost cuter than other spiders, I don't like the furry ones, call it a personal vendetta against the furry jerks :C. If those ones touched me I'd freak out just the same however X_X.
