I made some changes to the head. Of course it destroyed my unwrapping. But that ok since I plan to do it over anyway. I was good (kinda) practice.
I refined the mouth so it looks somewhat decent. I also added the nostrils (I decided not to do them completely in a bump map). Not completely happy with them (I spent too much time tweaking them). I think it'll look better once I make a nose pad texture. I waiting to do it at the very end lest I have to start it over... again. Then finally the glorious hair. It's going to either be a masterpiece or a huge furry mess. So, before I go further, what do you think of the head shape? Too round? I'll make some front-side-top view tomorrow to show it better. I really need to get some sleep. O_O

What I plan to do is to outline the pad with a bump map with some texture inside it. The nostril I'll leave smooth. I could outline it in the model but that'll add tons of verts. I was even planing to the nostrils themselves in a bump but decided that they wouldn't be all that deep. I probably could have used a displacement map instead but I just modeled it directly.
It's possessed! O_O Run away! Actually I planed to define the chest more. *shows his ultra secret notebook... briefly* The back area has a sine ridge going through it (I'll get a back shot in when I get back from work).
The cute little ears I try to base from the reference drawings of Leim. *pinches the ears* They might stand for a little growing. *pulls on them* But it's up to Leim. *yanked the ears too hard and have to trim the new "rabbit" ears with his trusty chainsaw* Stand back. This could get (more) messy. ^^~@~^^

I'm planning just to add hair to the mane and the tail tuff. A full body fur is way beyond my abilities at this point. I never done hair before so just the ones I plan are going to be a challenge. I made some changes to the body and tried a better nose. I'm close to finalizing the shape and move on to the texturing (for real this time) and the scary hair system. I'll post what I have shortly. ^^~@~^^
listen bud do whatever you like with your model. personally i like it. the funny thing is people will always crit you even i its still a WIP and EVEN if you didnt ask for it besides in the long run opinions are just that there is no "bad" unless you think it is. or if you have an employer...but thats not the case here. =)
anyways keep it up bud =)

I like the suggestions. Most of the time it's something I plan anyway (like a better chest). It's nice to know that I'm going in the right direction. I'm stumbling through this quite blindingly.
Other times it give me ideas that I wouldn't think otherwise. It gets me thinking (a dangerous thing, let me assure you). *evil laugh follow by couching* As long as it's not rude or anything (knock on wood).
Good thing I don't have to do this at work, though it would be nice to get paid for it. I can go at my own pace and such (which is slower than sin). Although I could use some "on the job" training. The few tutorials that I looked at is not the same. Doesn't go into much detail for what I need. So I experiment a lot... a huge amount. But I sometimes come up with some "interesting" results. Go figure. ^^~@~^^
