One night Chris and I were hanging out at his house, watching tv, playing video games, talking, and we even ordered pizza. We were hav8ng s9 much fun together that we didn’t realize it was getting late. It was already 12:30 am and we’ve both agreed that I stay would stay over for the night. So I texted my parents to let them know that I’m fine and that I was going to stay with Chris for the night, of course for being 25 my parents didn’t mind. So, we started to get ready for bed, “so where will I sleep for the night,” I’ve asked? Oh, you can sleep on my bed and I’ll sleep on the floor, said Chris. Chris I’m not going to force you out of your own bed. It’s fine Ricky, said Chris with a smile, there are times I usually sleep on the floor anyways. Besides, your my guest and I want you to be comfortable for the night. We went back and forth for a while, Chris won the argument when he finally just grabbed me on the back of my shirt and dangled me in the air like a little cub being held by the neck of his mother, plopped me on the bed, and gave me the “dad look.” So I pulled the covers over me and did what he told me to do, he went into his closet and grabbed an extra pillow and blanket and laid down right next to me on the floor. Comfortable, asked Chris, yes but I still feel like I should be on the floor and you be in the bed, I said. Now we’re not going to go over this again now shut up and go to sleep, he said with a chuckle. Yes dad, I said, we both laughed and then we fell asleep.
