I first started talking to him about 2 years ago. I was still in school, kinda finding my way as an artist. Really I was just starting to figure out what it meant to have my own identity as an artist as opposed to constantly borrowing from other people. He helped me cultivate more of what makes me more independent about my art and helped me grow simply by talking to me. He's an extremely independent individual and without having to scream it to the rooftops he simply lives his life exactly the way he intends to. Everything he does is for himself, people liking it is just an incidental thing.
