Jonas, one of the two mascots for Califur, is a gray wolf. I was asked to be the Guest of Honor at Califur.2 in 2006, so this is one of several pieces I'm doing for them. The character is copyright to Califur, but the artwork is copyright to me. Theme for C.2 is "Furry Pirates" (Gotta love that " bug), so here he is, all pirated up with a cutlass, pistol and blunderbuss.

Bonus points to anyone who can correctly identify where I got the red-heeled boots from.

OMG, You have created a hot Character i should keep looking at and drooling over. Heh, he kinda has a similar outfit to Don Karnage, but not really, your imagination shows that. Well done

That looks awesome. You pulled that off so nicely. And you deffinetly to make for a good guest of honor for any con. :3

And I'm sorry, but all my brain can think of is 'Don Carnage'. The furryness of the pirate overides all other thought.....and the fact I know so VERY little about pirate folk. Unless it's from Pirates of the Carabien(or however you spell it! XD)

Furry Pirates? This means there's going to be a lot of playing of that furry RPG of the same name with all the drawings by Terrie Smith, isn't it? Nice work, BTW.
