I kind of just wanted to draw a Satyr sitting on a natural looking throne, but I do have a bit of backstory for the character in general just in case I decide to keep him around. He doesn't have a name yet though.

This Satyr presented himself to a human civilization and promised to protect them from an imminent natural disaster as long as they kept him satisfied with gifts and worship. He kept his word for over a hundred years. The documentation is a bit fuzzy on what went wrong, since most was destroyed when the civilization was buried under layers of molten magma and ash. But most of the locals who rebuilt on that land tend to blame him for it, saying he got bored, or was insulted by a bad gift, and let the volcano erupt. Too bad we can't hear his side of the story.
