I'm guessing the Ultra (and not the dead-ass dude) is the heretic, then? Kinda looks like it due to all the human technology, of course, but that might always just be delicious irony (i.e. loyalist forced to use heretic gear to complete mission to kill heretic).

nope the Ultra is the heretic, he killed a zealot , keeping his head as a trophy to show his "brother's" the stupidity for joining the covenant that was just feeding the zealot lies, he actually stole the armor, one of the thigh pieces is actually from a minor, the rest is ultra
Ah, yes indeed very interesting. I'm considering to do more art work on the Kig-yar. They have this highly interesting live as mercenary or pirate. And I've come up with a couple great idea's to draw about the female Kig-yar Chur'R-Yar who was a ship mistress of the ship called Minor Transgression. And at a time a group of Kig-yar even lived among humans.
