So, here's an unfortunate picture depicting an all too true story that happened to me at work last week...
At my job in the tech department at my old high school, they have a few crappy tv karts from back before they had projectors in each room. Every once in awhile, one is needed, so we still keep them around. These things are serious maintenance nightmares, though, and last week I was told to fix a loose shelf on one of these karts. I had asked if I should move the tv off the kart first to prevent any sort of mishap. My boss was just like "Nah, it's just one screw you're fixing. It shouldn't be a problem." Well......it looks like it was a problem after all........
Guess who has a reduced pay check this month now? Fun!

That's just sad and lame and whatever else is bad. Karma will get your boss back, just got to wait for it to happen. Reminds me of my grocery store days.... *shivers*
Hopefully the cost of the tv isn't t too much, it's stupid they are making you pay for it when it was your boss who allowed it to happen.

Speaking of overtightened screws in plastic, I had this same freaking problem at work with an overtightened screw in one of the machines I was working on. When I removed one, the part that puts the pins in there place came loose and hit me on the noggin'. Not a good way to begin the work day..
